With a history dating back to 1940 as a naval shipyard, Shelburne Ship Repair Limited continues to stand as a testament to the rich maritime heritage of Nova Scotia’s south shore. Now a full-service commercial yard with extensive capabilities, including the ability to lift vessels up to 4000 tonnes and up to 410 ft long and 60 ft wide. The yard has approximately 2500 ft of wharfage for alongside work.

The companies’ workshops can handle all types of repair work, including mechanical, electrical, and welding. Additional capabilities include an in-house grit blasting and painting team, a rigging team for non-engineered staging, and access to specialized technicians.
