Sapin is a naval architectural engineering firm specializing in marine assets principally aimed at the natural resources sector. Our services include the engineering analysis and design/drafting, specifications, procurement support and commissioning of pump barges, dump scows, dredgers, workboats, tugs, service tenders, marinas, floating docks, service barges, and their associated systems including floating pipelines, conduits and walkways.

Sapin also serves the commercial marine market with capabilities to undertake stability assessments, mooring analyses, tonnage measurements, crane lifting and rigging plans, launching and haul-out plans and structural analyses among a wide range of other engineering activities.

Based out of Digby Nova Scotia, Sapin is a global network of sub-contracted partners, enabling it to flexibly deploy targeted expertise to each project.
