Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Software Developer will be responsible for writing, modifying, integrating, and testing software code for food production machinery as well as other industrial applications. They will research and evaluate a variety of software products while maintaining existing computer programs through any required modifications.
The Software Developer will collaborate with various departments to bring new products and processes from ideation to production through implementing code and script according to required coding standards. They will work closely with a project team to inform all software code-related duties while ensuring high quality of work, on time, and on schedule. The Software Developer will manage multiple development projects and timelines.
The Software Developer will communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to applicable team members. They will prepare reports and manuals to communicate the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
Skills & Qualifications
As the ideal candidate, you will have 2 + years of experience in a Software Developer role. Preferably, the candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or another related field.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated with a high degree of initiative. They will have the ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines. They will be organized with an eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy of the completed product. Our candidate will be knowledgeable in data structures, system design, and algorithms as well as network communication protocols, technologies, and systems.
They will have sound problem-solving skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Flexibility to travel occasionally is required. Preference will be given to candidates fully vaccinated from COVID-19.
