Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities of a laborer include but are not limited to:
--Perform physical labor, lifting up to 50-60lbs
-Working safely efficiently and as part of a team
-May include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials
-Using a variety of tools and machines such as blowtorches, forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

-Drivers License required
-Mechanical background (an asset)
-Must have good communication skills to be able to interact verbally with peers
-Health and Safety mindset
-Comfortable working around heavy equipment
-Good work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
-Marine Experience or Millwright background considered an asset

**Due to Federal Government projects, the selected applicant must have proof of full COVID-19 vaccination**

Working Conditions

-You will be exposed to environmental conditions such as hot and cold temperatures, work areas that are dirty, dusty, wet, and noisy, and areas with frequent vibration
-Work is performed in all weather conditions
-You will be required to wear personal protective equipment, such as a hard hat, eye protection, hearing protection, respirators, safety shoes, and other job-specific protective equipment.


$15 - $28 an hour
