Lunchtime info session – Acceptance of Plans stamped by a P. Eng.
The Nova Scotia Boatbuilders Association (NSBA) is holding an information session with Transport Canada on their new policy for “Plan approval – Acceptance of plans stamped by a Canadian licensed engineer”. Gerry Currie, Manager, Technical Services from TC’s Regional Office will be explaining the process and will answer questions.
The goal of the session is to clarify for stakeholders the process for preparing and submitting plans to TC under the new Policy. Kris Dove, Director of Professional Practice & Development from Engineers Nova Scotia, will also be attending.
When: Wednesday, 10th June, noon to 1:30pm
Where: Atlantic CAT Boardroom, 175 Akerley Blvd, Burnside, Dartmouth.
Who should attend: Professional Engineers, naval architects, boatbuilders, surveyors
Admission: Free for NSBA members | $20 for non-members
Pizza, pop / water will be provided.
