SR&ED Tax Incentive Program
What you’ll learn:
The SR&ED Program is a federal tax incentive program that encourages Canadian businesses of all sizes, in all sectors, to do R&D in Canada. The boatbuilding industry often finds itself innovating to meet customers’ performance requirements – and your business could be eligible for a valuable refund cheque from CRA for labour and expense costs incurred on specific projects under the SR&ED Program.
You will learn what types of activity and costs are eligible for the program, and what documentation, record-keeping and other business processes you have to provide to be considered for this tax incentive program.
