Company Details

David MacDonald's boat shop overlooks the Northumberland Strait and Prince Edward Island, and is located halfway between Antigonish and New Glasgow on Route 245. The Northumberland Strait is home to the type of fishing boat known as the Northumberland style. David has been a boatbuilder for the past twenty years. For the past ten, he and his crew of three have been building fibreglass Northumberland hulls in sizes 19', 34'11", and 38'6". The boats are available as kits or as complete commercial or pleasure vessels. Also available is a 32' Cape Islander. Optional moulded topsides are available on all vessels.
